We believe this is important because people over 70 have been identified as the group most vulnerable to Covid-19 and have had specific restrictions imposed on your activities. The media has often characterised you as passive and in need of protection. Yet your views remain largely unknown.

Your letter will become part of this website and, with your permission, be housed in an archive at the Auckland War Memorial Museum. It will also be used to inform research about government and media responses in the event of future pandemics.
